I LOVE MY VIOLA!!! Several people have commented on its beartiful tone. The more I play it, the more I love it. What a treat to play on such a fine instrument! Please feel free to give out my name and email as a reference. I am proud to endorse such excellent craftsmanship.

The top of this handsome small viola is of medium grain European spruce, the ribs, neck and one-piece back are of highly flamed Bosnian maple. The color is red madder lake, over a golden yellow ground, layered between coats of oil varnish. The fittings are boxwood with heart shaped pegs. With a neck that is thinned for playing comfort, and a small scroll, the entire instrument is extremely light and player friendly. Unlike some small violas, 'C' string is rich and tone over the entire playing range is warm, even and entirely free of wolf tones.
